My background in CBT and clinical psychology, together with my experience of working in a variety of inpatient and outpatient psychology services in primary and secondary care over the last 14 years, enables me to provide effective therapy, consultation and supervision services for a wide range of mental health difficulties.
I am a BABCP (British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies) accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist, Supervisor and Chartered Psychologist with the British Psychological Society (BPS), registered as a Clinical and Forensic Psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
In my current post as a Principal Clinical Psychologist in the NHS, I provide CBT assessment and treatment services for adults presenting with depression and anxiety disorders, supervision, consultation and staff support.
Over the years, I have gained experience in working with young people, adults and families presenting with anxiety and mood disorders; personality disorders; psychoses; behavioural problems; and cognitive impairment. I am familiar with mindfulness approaches, schema therapy, systemic therapy and dialectical behaviour therapy, and have participated in relevant training.
